Take Me Home Tonight (2011) review

Take Me Home Tonight is salacious romantic comedy about a recent MIT graduate, Matt Franking (Topher Grace) who should be in a high paid job but without any direction in life decides to take a part time job behind the counter of a video store at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. However, when his high school dream girl walks in the store, he thinks he might have a shot at winning her over. She invites him to her house of an end-of-summer party and with his sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and best friend Barry (Dan Fogler), he takes on the evening head on! The night takes him to difficult and awkward situations until he finally finds himself.

Other reviews speak for themselves. This movie had a weak story line which reflects in the acting and direction. Everything seemed a bit too over acted and it got very predictable quite quickly. Of course there were some hilarious moments during the film, but that was not enough to give this movie any more points. Overall, this movie was a real time pass.
